FieldGoods vs. Gousto

better than Gousto, the slow cooked beef was great, and yes they do have all the nutritional info listed for each meal which is super helpful.

Easy dinner solution

Needed some quick dinners so I tried FieldGoods. Grabbed the Shepherd's Pie and a Vegetable Lasagne. Everything came frozen solid, which is good. Just popped 'em in the oven from frozen like they said. Tasted pretty good for ready meals, honestly. Way better than what you get from the supermarket sometimes. It was just super easy after a long day, you know?

Decent meal kit experience

I ordered a few of their frozen ready meals, including the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Macaroni Cheese. Placing the order was pretty straightforward on their site. Delivery took 3 days to reach me in Arizona, and everything arrived well-frozen in recyclable packaging, which was nice. The Chicken Tikka Masala was flavorful, good portion size. The Macaroni Cheese was okay, a bit bland for my taste, but still edible. I had a question about cooking times for one of the dishes, and customer support replied to my email within a day. Overall, a solid experience with good quality food and service.

Good value for a new customer

I was looking for some frozen meals and saw FieldGoods. They had a decent offer for new customers, which made me try them out. I got the Lamb Tagine and the Fish Pie. The discount really helped with the cost. It felt like a good deal for the quality of food I received. Shipping was also free on my first order. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth.

Always reliable, great food

I've ordered from FieldGoods a few times now, and they're consistently good. Got the Beef Bourguignon this last time, and it was just as tasty as the Goan Fish Curry I had before. Delivery was quick too, like always. That's why I keep coming back.

Thinking of trying FieldGoods but also looked at Cook. Anyone used both and can tell me which one they liked better for the actual food quality? Like taste and stuff.

P Paula 3 months ago
I've had both. FieldGoods feels a bit more 'homemade' to me, and the ingredients taste really fresh. Cook is good for convenience but I think FieldGoods edges it out on flavor.

Cook's portions felt bigger sometimes but FieldGoods definitely has better quality ingredients. Especially their meat dishes, you can tell the difference.

hey, anyone order from FieldGoods to like, outside the main UK cities? I'm in a pretty rural area in Scotland and sometimes places won't deliver here.

D Dan 2 months ago
I'm in Cornwall and they delivered fine, but it took an extra day compared to what my mate in London got. Best to put in your postcode on their site and see what it says.

Yeah, I'd double check with your postcode. I think they cover most of the UK but specific delivery times/days can vary.
